Melissa - I'll never forget a short while ago when we told you our baby was named because we loved your middle name and you were my favorite niece! You hardly put Bella down at all that night -all the while asking when you could babysit! Just your nature - you were very thoughtful , caring , and kind to all people around you and always helping Nonna! You had such a big heart and helped all around you! I especially love your fondness for dogs and how you would be so patient with them and treat them like gold - even talking with them! I'm comforted that you are resting easy in Paradise and guiding our families from Heaven above. Guardian Angel - you'll forever be on my mind and heart till I see you again baby girl - Dario, Amanda and Bella - Posted by: Dario De Angelis (Uncle) on: Feb 17, 2017

I was checking multiple times a day to see if maybe I was just dreaming. Maybe it wasn't true.... but it is. And I continued to ask myself whether or not I wanted to comment, but I've chosen to do so. Tomorrow I say goodbye to Melissa alongside many others who adored her in more ways than one. I cherish the times we spoke together and the time we had spent during Folklorama. Melissa and I met back in 2010 when I first starting dancing. She was one of the first people I met and one of the very few I still talked to many years later even after having to leave. I spoke to Melissa whenever I could during Folklorama and when she would kindly message me to see how I was doing. She always knew how to make someone laugh and was such a great person to have a conversation with. I really liked that about Melissa. She was a genuine friend with the greatest smile that could light up the room. I'd like to express my condolences to Melissa's family and friends as well. It won't ever be the same, but know that there will be better days to come and Melissa will be there by your side through the way. Until' we meet again Melissa... may she rest in peace alongside Mylow and the others that have passed on. - Posted by: Sabrina (Friend ) on: Feb 16, 2017

Mel and I had a love/hate relationship through elementary school and became close in the 9th grade. She would spend several nights in a row at my house during the summers. Mel loved playing games, she would keep me up playing cards until the early hours of the morning. I'll never play another game without thinking of her, I love you Mel. Say hi to Mylow for me, We'll meet again. - Posted by: Chynna Simms (Bestfriend ) on: Feb 15, 2017

I met Melissa when I was in grade 10, and she in grade 11. I met her through her boyfriend, and we clicked immediately. Melissa was such a kind and funny person. I have fond memories of sitting in the commons at school and talking with her. She provided friendship and support during a very difficult time in my life, and her companionship helped me through it. I regret not spending more time talking to her. If I could go back in time, I would thank her and let her know just how much of a positive impact she had on me. Melissa, you will be missed. May you rest in peace. We love you. - Posted by: Rhianna Cohen (Friend) on: Feb 15, 2017

Melissa and I met in grade 10, we didn't really know each other back then, but we always smiled at each other in the halls or said hi. I started talking to Melissa through friends and she was really fun and outgoing. I really wish we were good friends, but we eventually just drifted, but we still said hi here and there. It's really hard to believe and take in that she's gone. I pray she's happy up there and condolences go out to her family and friends. She was gone way too young. Rest in paradise Melissa, until we meet again....❤ - Posted by: Anmol Kahlon (Friend) on: Feb 11, 2017

Melissa and I met in Garden City Collegiate when I was in grade 11 and she was in grade 10 with our friends Kassandra, David, Gabe, Corrigan, Chelsea and Zach. I used to hang out with Melissa and Kassandra a lot during school as they both helped me with anxiety and bullying. I remember being called to the east building by Kassandra because Melissa had a bad accident at school and we prayed for her to get better! She came to school a day later looking amazing! I will miss her smile, her laugh, just her in general, she helped me a lot when things got hard and I helped her when things got tough. Melissa and I had some fun days sitting in the commons of the school just talking and laughing. We used to have lots of fun and I will forever cherish the moments I spent with her. She will forever remain in my heart and I will one day meet her again. Melissa we love you and may you Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Amanda ritchot (Friend) on: Feb 11, 2017
