ANITA MARIE OSACHUK (nee TARDIFF) It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the peaceful passing of Anita Osachuk at Riverview Health Centre with her devoted husband at her side on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the age of 57 years. Anita was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Helen (Aileen) Tardiff. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Grant; siblings, Maurice (Lucille) Tardiff, Arthur Tardiff, Harold (Sherri) Tardiff, Lorette Tardiff (Michael Dix); mother and father-in-law Bill and Gail Osachuk; sister-in-law Sharon (Thomas) Yarduk; numerous nieces and nephews. Anita was born on October 1, 1959 and went to school in Laurier and Ste. Rose du Lac until she moved to Winnipeg after graduating high school, where she resided until her passing. Anita and Grant met in October 2000, it was love at first sight and they were married September 25, 2004. She had passions in fitness, food and wine, special times spent with family and friends. House and home was very important to her, collecting beautiful artwork whenever possible. When Grant would question another new piece she would just reply, "It's good to change up your art from time to time". You would be hard pressed to find anyone else with as big a passion for shoes as Anita, but somehow she could always justify needing another new pair. In recent years she was bitten by the travel bug, they enjoyed trips to both the Niagara and Okanagan wine regions as well as trips to Maui and The Riviera Maya. She was loved by many and had a smile that brightened every room she walked into. For the last 16 years she worked as a Financial Service Manager at Frontier Toyota where she made many special friends. Anita will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Rest in peace my love. A celebration of Anita's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Grant would like to extend a special thank you to CancerCare, H.S.C, and Riverview Health Centre for their loving care given to Anita. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Anita to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada. Family and friends wishing may sign a book of condolence at www.glenlawn.ca. • Anita was one of my first clients, when I moved to Winnipeg. I loved catching up with her life monthly and hearing how much she loved her family and friends. When I recently met Grant, coming into the salon with Anita, it was difficult not to act as though I had known him for years already. Anyone who met Anita, couldn't help but adore her- she was a bright light, a beautiful soul and welcomed everyone with her warm heart...she will be terribly missed. Yes, she did always wear such amazing footwear! My heart goes out to all of her family and loved ones. Rest in peace beautiful Anita. - Posted by: Tania Jane (Hairstylist / friend) on: Feb 13, 2017
