Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAMELITA CABUNGCAL PINPIN After a long battle with lung cancer, Amelita Cabungcal Pinpin, at the age of 64, peacefully passed away, with her family at her bedside, on February 16, 2017. To cherish her memory, her husband of 35 years, Efern, her son Christopher (Amanda) and daughter Emelizza; her brothers Frederico (Isa), Robert (Karla), Carlos Jr.; family friends Tatu (Fely), Choy (Minnie), Jimmy (Remy); along with other family and friends in Winnipeg and Philippines. Lamay/Viewing will be on Saturday, February 25, 2017, 6:30 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Prayer to be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward's Church, 836 Arlington St.; burial to follow at Glen Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, reception to conclude. It was with a great deal of sadness that I felt when I read that Mel had passed away. I have often thought about her and wondered how she was doing. She was a wonderful woman so kind, a real hard worker and had a great deal of love for her husband and children and for her community at large.
