Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYNE EUGENE STEVENSON Our beloved father, Lyne Eugene Stevenson of Winnipeg passed away suddenly on February 20, 2017, at the age of 73 years. Our father will always be remembered as a kind and quiet soft spoken man. His love of watching sports, working in the garden and always enjoyed sitting out on a summer day. Dad worked for many years. Once retired from McDiarmid Lumber he enjoyed travelling to Victoria, BC and Churchill, MB. He was predeceased by his parents Allan and Mildred Stevenson, and his sister Cheryl Stevenson of Kenora, ON. He was also predeceased by his beloved wife Lois in August 2001. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters: Arlene Stevenson (Adam Scott), grandchildren Andrea and Matthew Futrell of Brandon, and Anita (Simon) Da Luz of Winnipeg. His daughters are comforted knowing that Lyne is reunited in the arms of his loving wife. A private interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens beside his wife in the family niche. Thank you to the staff of Arlington Haus for your care and your kindness. We love you, we will miss you. Rest in Peace Dad. My husband & I met Lyne when we lived in Winnipeg between 2009-2013. John helped Lyne with a few fencing jobs and Lyne built a deck for us at our home. They enjoyed swapping stories and watching sports while sharing a brew (or two). Lyne gave me gardening tips and advice which I appreciated.
