Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH ELSIE DYZANDRA (FEDELUK) January 22, 1922 - February 19, 2017 At the age of 95 years, Elsie peacefully went to her eternal rest to join her beloved husband Paul, who predeceased her on August 18, 2007 after 65 years of marriage. Elsie was predeceased by her infant son Robert, her beloved husband Paul, parents Sophie and Alexander Fedeluk, brothers Michael and Norman and niece Tanis Fedeluk. Surviving is her son Vance of Vancouver, B.C., his daughter Natasha, special god-daughter Connie LeBlanc, nephews, nieces and their families. Elsie was born January 22, 1922 in Transcona, Manitoba and she attended Central School. In August 16, 1942 Elsie was united in marriage to Paul Dyzandra. During her working years she worked in Toronto at Small Arms Ammunition Plant in the assembly line of the Winchester Rifle, later at the Cordite Plant in Transcona, and after the plant closed, Elsie worked at Eaton's Mail Order with Custom Relations and Men's Furnishing. When the Mail Order closed Elsie went to work at Woolco Department Store in Transcona. She retired in 1982. Together with her husband Paul, they enjoyed years of travel across Canada and the U.S.A., trips to Las Vegas, Hawaii, Mexico, Cuba and winter cruises in the Caribbean. Among her activities, Elsie was also a past member of Eastern Star. Special and warmest thanks are extended to the nursing and caregiver personnel of the second floor at Vista Park Lodge. We are grateful for their compassion and diligent care of Elsie since October 2014. Honouring Elsie's last wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A private family interment will be held where she will join her husband in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
