HEINZ SELINGER October 6, 1930 - February 26, 2017 It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Heinz Selinger (Dad, Opa, Old Man, Pop and Heinz The Carpenter) surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday February 26, 2017. Heinz was predeceased by his beloved wife Flo in 2014. Cherishing his memories are his loving family, his children Melinda (Ken), Anthony, granddaughter Stephanie (Norm), sister-in-law Evelyn (Edgar), brother-in-law David (Olivia), their families, cousins and dear friends both in Germany and Canada. Dad loved wildlife (Bunnies, birds and deer). He was the keeper of the wildlife in his own back yard. He also enjoyed working in his vegetable garden and watching it flourish. Dad was a true finishing carpenter with great perfection. He worked hard for his family and was proud of his accomplishments. Family was very important to Opa. An afternoon to remember Heinz will be held Monday, March 6, 2017 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Private Interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank, Deanne, Paula, Sharon, Jamie and Dr. Burron for their respectful care to dad. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation or The Selkirk General Hospital. "Rest in Peace Opa and Please say Hi to Oma for Us" Your Memories will live in our Hearts forever! "If I don't see you again. I Love You!"
