Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE (MOE) POLLOCK On Thursday, February 16, 2017 Moe passed away peacefully at the age of 80 years at the River East Personal Care Home, after a long battle with Alzheimers. He leaves behind his wife Kayla of 51 years, his children Rhonda (Craig), David (Jodi), grandchildren Shamira and Henry, sister-in-law Marlene Pinck, brother-in-law Sheldon Koven (Jacki) and numerous nieces and nephews. Moe is predeceased by his parents, Esther and Harry, siblings Ralph, Anita and Blanche, and his brother-in-law Ransom Pinck. Moe was born in Minneapolis in 1936. He worked at Edison Brothers as a salesman for 20 years. Moe moved to Winnipeg in 1977 with his family, where he owned a furniture store for 30 years. He enjoyed golf, poker, bowling and was exceptionally good at crossword puzzles. Moe was a loving husband, father and zaida who will be sadly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff of the Courage Bay Unit. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society, Winnipeg Humane Society, or a charity of your choice. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
