TARA MURRAY 1971 - 2017 Unexpectedly, yet peacefully on March 5, 2017 Tara, at the age of 45 years, passed away with her family by her side. Tara was predeceased by her grandparents Margaret and Al Zimmerman, Alec Smyth, and her uncle Tom Zimmerman. Tara will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Brad; three daughters Ashley, Rachael (Travis), and Brook; her pride and joy grandchildren Dayton, Carter and Ethan, with a fourth on the way; her mother Candy Frobisher (Dennis); father Bob Zimmerman (Kelli); grandparents Pat Anderson, Denise Frobisher; father-in-law Gord Murray; mother-in-law Shirley Murray (Bill); siblings Chad Zimmerman (Amanda), Randi Zimmerman, Alli Zimmerman (Mark), brothers-in-law Colin Murray (Karen) and Kelly Murray. Tara and Brad met in school in 1987. She graduated in 1990 and married Brad in 1996. Tara and Brad moved from Winnipeg to Belair, MB in 1997 to raise their three girls in the country. She loved the peacefulness of country life and being an animal lover, she enjoyed the wildlife including the numerous deer and bears around the property. Tara worked for Sunrise School Division as a bus driver from 2004 and loved her "bus kids". Tara was very successful with her dream to build Bear Country Cottages and Niakwa Pizza which she ran for nearly 10 years while maintaining her career and love for bus driving. After the sale of the business, Tara enjoyed frequent trips to her vacation home in Orlando, Florida. Tara was a very kind and thoughtful person, always placing others before herself. She had an incredible sense of humour and loved making others laugh. She had a lot of friends who just adored her. Tara will be deeply missed but always in our hearts. A celebration of Tara's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Winnipeg Evangelical Church, 500 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chad Zimmerman, Jamie Smyth, Steve Russel, Kyle Zimmerman, Ryan Zimmerman and John Correia. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Victoria/Grand Marais Fire-EMS departments and the Powerview R.C.M.P. for their care and compassion. • I'm going to miss Tara's neverending sense of humour and her ability to scare the crap out of me every time she pretended she was going to run me off the road, laughing her head off the whole time, leaving me with my heart in my throat. She got me every time. I'm really going to miss that. My heart goes out to the Murray family at this time of profound sadness. We're saying goodbye to Tara much too early and the world just got a little less funny. Tara, you will be sorely missed. - Posted by: Rita (Friend) on: Mar 09, 2017
