Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE MARIE ANTOINITTE MONCHAMP (nee REMILLARD) Peacefully after a brief stay in hospital, Florence passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 93. Left to cherish her memory are nephews, David Remillard, Neil Ames; great-nephew Kevin Ames (Terri-Ann); great-nieces, Lauren Brownell (Kyle) and Sandra Owen; also sister-in-law Rachel Remillard and great-great nieces Taylor and Morgan Ames, Joscelyn, Olyvia and Adelyn Brownell. Florence was predeceased by her husband Steve; parents, brother Wilfrid and niece Donna Ames (Remillard). Florence was born in St. Boniface on February 16, 1924. She was employed by the T. Eaton Co. from 1955 to 1984. Florence liked to travel, she and her husband saw many vacation resorts around the globe. While not vacationing, she liked playing cards and spending some weekends at Falcon Lake with friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday April 13, 2017 at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A special thanks goes out to all the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, 6th Floor Ward 6A and E. Sorry to hear about Florence's passing. She was a very pleasant, "down to earth" lady with a unique laugh. Florence, your poker gang will open you with loving arms!!!
