STEPHANIE MARGARET HELENA LALIBERTE (PRITCHARD) December 19, 1925 April 10, 2017 It is with deeply saddened hearts we announce the passing of our dearly beloved mum, grandma and great-grandma, on April 10, 2017. There was no one quite like our Mum! She always lived life to the fullest, and her favourite saying was, "One day at a Time". She lived by that motto each and every day. Like Mum said, "You don't miss out on anything if you live one day at a time". Born in England on December 19, 1925, to Margaret and Alfred Pritchard, Mum lived in Fordwich, Canterbury, Kent. She met our Dad at a dance during the Second World War and it was love at first sight! When the War ended, on August 22, 1945 they married in England and lived there for one year before moving to Canada. Mum was proud to be a war bride with Dad and had 63 years of married life together. Mum was so very interesting to talk to! She was a strong-willed woman with a very generous heart. She loved her family so very much, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild who made her so very happy and proud. Mum was predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence (Larry) in 2008; her mother Margaret and father Alfred. Mum is survived by her sons, Allan (Sandy), Glenn (Heather) and grandchildren, Riley (Amanda), Cara (Michael), Kristel, Kelsey (Stephen) and Shelby (Danny) and great-granddaughter Marlee. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Father Greg Mulligan officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Butler, Renel Berard, Gerry Zalusky, Sid Nernberg and Rick Boux. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg. We gratefully thank all staff at Middlechurch Home for their outstanding care. You were "Mum's Angels". "Mum, in the cookies of life, you were always the chocolate chips" God Bless You and Keep You, We Love You!
