ALBERT OMER JOSEPH LESAGE December 16, 1954 - April 30, 2017 After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Albert passed away peacefully, with family by his side. His 62 years on this earth were filled with love, laughter and many fond memories. Albert had the ability to draw people in with his sense of humour and unique tales, leaving a lasting impression on all whom he crossed paths with. He was the center of his family. His generosity, enduring strength and loyalty will be greatly missed by those left behind. He will forever be remembered by his family, and his memory will live on through the love of his life, Glenda LeSage (Hooey); his children Tanya (Dave) Walker, Trent (Megan) and Bradley (Brynn); grandchildren Jackson Walker, Nathan LeSage, Jacob Walker, Aryanna LeSage; his mother, Therese LeSage; siblings Isabelle (Flo) Desrochers, Jean (Rose), Roger (Elaine), Donald (Carol); Glenda's parents Stuart and Audrey Hooey; brother Russell (Lesley); sister Merle (Romeo) Pittet; brother-in-law Brian Adair; brother Murray (Joanne), and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews along with many close family friends. He was predeceased by his father Andre LeSage, and sister-in-law Doris Adair. A special thank you goes out to all the staff at Health Sciences Centre on RR6, Dr. S. Banerji, Dr. J. Kim and their Oncology team for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honour of Albert's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or Children's Wish Foundation Manitoba Chapter. A celebration of Albert's life will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Howden Community Centre, 1078 Red River Drive, Howden, MB. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Albert for many years at BDL. He was a joy to work and even after all these years I can still picture him smiling away!!!
