  • My life has been so enriched, because of Marie. She always listened to me and helped me see "outside the box." She gave me strength and wisdom. Being teachers, we had stories to share about our experiences. Shared memories at the lake, the games, (thanks for getting me hooked on Spider!) and lots of laughter. It has been a great loss (Ted and now Marie) to all who love her. To Carolyn, Jacquie, and Terry...we do keep them with us...always. In the memories you shared, the lessons they taught you, and everything you will pass on to your children, they will be there. My deepest love to all of you and the loss of your beloved Mom, grandmother, sister. Love you, Dee - Posted by: Dee Ford (Lucky enough to be a called a friend) on: May 06, 2017

  • I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Marie. I knew her my whole life growing up down at the dock. She was so kind and always filled me in on how the family was keeping. To her children and grandchildren please accept my sincere condolences, you have all been though some difficult times with the loss of your Dad and now your Mom. The summer will be forever changed down at the boathouse with these important fixtures gone. Take care of each other and try to hold on to your beautiful memories as you face this summer at the lake without your heart. - Posted by: Sonia Babyak (West Hawk Lake) on: May 06, 2017
