Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I liked hanging out at the home in Trafford Park back in the day. Mrs. Watts (to us kids) was always so sweet and soft spoken with us. She was a very good mom and it was a home you knew there was a lot of love in. I think it's nice to remember mom's from childhood...the ones you knew that cared. :o) Peace & love to all Family & Friends of Erla. xo - Posted by: Pam (childhood friend of Laura) on: May 12, 2017

  • Erla and I had a very close bond from he moment we met in 1971. I think it was because we were the same age and provided lots of support for each other. Although we didn't spend a lot of time together, when we did it was like no time had passed. Erla was a very special person who loved her family so much, her children and grandchildren were her life. She always talked about them and spoke with such pride of their accomplishments. I fortunately had the opportunity to spend some time with Erla this last year and month once she moved to Chilliwack. She, of course was saddened to hear of the terminal diagnosis but was so brave and accepting of the news. I am very happy she was able to spend time with Craig and Laura before this horrible disease took her from our world. Erla will never be forgotten by those who loved and knew her and she will feel no more pain. Goodbye Erla, may your wings carry you forever.
