JOAN ANNETTE STEWART Peacefully, with family and friends by her side, Joan Annette Stewart passed away at Riverview Health Centre on May 3, 2017, at the age of 67 years old. Joan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Joseph; her sons Paul, Errol, and Mark; stepson Derrick, also her grandchildren Alicia, Carson, Latoya, Keyon, and rest of family in England, Jamaica, America, and all of her friends. Joan was born on July 4, 1949 in the parish of St. Mary, Jamaica to her parents Icy and Nehemiah, also her siblings Joy, Dawny and Bobby. Joan got married to Joseph Stewart on August 26, 1967 in England. They moved to Canada in 1975, and she worked at Action Marguerite Valade for 35 years. A celebration of Joan Annette Stewart's life will be held on May 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. The family would like to extend their appreciation to all of the home care staff, and the 3rd floor east wing staff at Riverview for their kindness and compassionate care.
