MARGARET ROSE SEMENCHUK August 17, 1938 - May 20, 2017 After a brief but spirited struggle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Rose Semenchuk on May 20, 2017, at the Palliative Care Unit in St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 78 years. Margaret was predeceased by her mother and father, Mary and Andrew Fustey, and her brother Bill Fustey. She will be deeply missed by her husband Steve; daughters, Teresa (Steven) and Carolyn (Dennis); grandchildren, Tara, Madeline and Tom; great-grandson Greyson; sisters, Doris and Eleanor; brother Jim; nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends whom she always considered family. Margaret requested no formal funeral, but we would like to invite everyone who has been a part of our family's life to attend a celebration of life where we can share stories and remember this remarkable and feisty lady together; at the Princess Hotel at 202 Bond Street in Transcona on Tuesday, May 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A heartfelt thank-you to the compassionate staff of the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for their kindness and exceptional care, not only of Margaret, but of her family as well. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, with thanks. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
