GERARD (GERRY) TARDIFF It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Gerry Tardiff, at Meadowood Manor, on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the age of 90 years. His memory will be forever cherished by his wife of 65 years, Audrey, daughter Jan (Glenn), his son Ray (Julie) and daughter Annette. He was predeceased by his infant daughter Vivianne and his son Rémi. He is survived by six grandchildren, Mikaela (Andrew), Chantal, Dustin, Jason (Heather), Jordan and Kelsey Rae (Marcel) and his two great-grandchildren, Xavier and Henry (and one in the oven!) He was predeceased by his parents, by five brothers, Antoine, Lionel, Joseph, Honoré and Paul. He is survived by his sister Yvonne. Gerry was born in Ste. Rose du Lac on September 25, 1926. He farmed all his life until he moved to Dauphin in 1968. He worked for the Dauphin Hospital - laundry department until retiring to Winnipeg in 1990. He enjoyed a long, wonderful retirement travelling by RV from Alaska to Texas, San Francisco and many other locations in between. He loved nature, gardening, feeding the deer along the Seine River and spent many hours beautifying the condo property. He loved his family and enjoyed each and every moment spent with them. Cremation and a private memorial service have taken place. If friends so desire, a donation may be made to the charity of their choice. "Le paradis a la fin de vos jours?
