Aunty Jean and Family, my condolences and sympathy for you loss of Uncle Albert. I am truly grateful for Uncle Albert providing me with a different perspective on life. His drive and passion to succeed was edified by his attention to details. He would arrange the vegetables on the stand so that they would be so appealing to the customers, and most often would be featured in the newspaper with a picture of him making sure everything looked just right. He was no stranger to working hard with long hours that started early in the morning. We'd get up early and travel to the city with vegetables for the wholesalers, and head to Jack's Food Bar for Pancakes. Don't tell Aunty Jean cause she's preparing breakfast for us when we return. To this day it's our secret. His passion for photography is something that for me was truly amazing. He captured the beauty of the farm, our crops, and most important to him was family. Every birthday with a hot dog barbecue and Jeannies cake was an occasion to pull out the camera, or motion picture camera. In addition Christmas at Baba & Didos with all the family enjoying dinner in all the rooms was always an occasion to remember. He loved his family and always chauffeured them in beautiful cars be it a Buick, Oldsmobile or Cadillac. His joy of travel took them on vacation to Florida, and Disney. Always sharing their adventures with us in pictures and film. Thank-you for being part of my life Uncle Albert. Vichnaya Pamyat Uncle Albert. - Posted by: Stephen Sumka (Nephew) on: Jun 17, 2017
