Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACQUES ROBERGE August 19, 1939 - June 13, 2017 It is with deep regret that we announce that Jacques Roberge, 77, passed away peacefully in his home on June 13. Jacques is survived by Delores Roberge; his children, Andrei Roberge and wife Jillian and Alex Roberge and wife Samantha, as well as three grandchildren, Lauren, Wyatt, and William. Jacques spent his career working as an investigator for the department of finance. In retirement, Jacques dedicated much of his time to volunteerism as an active member of both the Lions Club of Riverside and the Transcona Legion. Jacques had a lifelong passion for reading and loved to share stories with his friends and family. Some of Jacques' favourite moments were spent walking the family dog to the ruins at the monastery. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Hwy., with reception to follow. As another member of our family circle, Jacques, left us for his greater reward above. Memories come to mind of how you showed me a side of you not many knew at the time of my visit to Winnipeg and the ladies hockey westerns. You gave me a day of your life of helping elders and fabulous lunch in your favorite place. Now pain no longer plagues you. Rest in peace Jacques. Frank and I offer our sincere condolences for your loss. Jacques had stayed with us several times and I even had him up at the cottage (Polish country).
