Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILFRED ELVIN KENNEDY February 27, 1929 - June 24, 2017 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Wilfred at Riverview Health Centre. Wilfred is survived by the Linklater family, many relatives in Selkirk, Manitoba, and many co-workers in the health field. He was predeceased by his mother Ruby Kennedy (Linklater), his father Mark Kennedy, and his brother Elwood Fraser Kennedy. Elvin spent many years in the medical profession. He trained and worked in Manitoba, Alberta, and Quebec. Health Sciences Centre saw 30 and a half years of his experience. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at St. Clements Anglican Church in Selkirk on Saturday, July 8 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Clements Churchyard for maintenance. www.seasonsfunerals.ca

Wilf was a good friend to my Uncle Bob I have know him for 35 years. His friends were his family for the last 50 some years. In his later years as his friends (family) passed from this life he would enjoy telling me of all the things they got up to in their wild days and I enjoyed listening we would laugh and smile my we had so many laughs. Well Wilf I hope your enjoying a good game of Bingo with Uncle Bob. Until we meet again save me a seat at the bingo table.
