So sorry to hear about the passing of your mum. I was just thinking of her the other day when she popped into my thoughts as she did from time to time over the years. I have many memories of the times spent at your home in Strathclair. I can see her walking the hallway of the school with a spring in her step, a great smile, a greeting to everyone, and a sparkle in her eyes. She embraced life and lived it to the fullest often putting family and friends before herself. A great gal. - Posted by: Daphne Hammond (Morris) (Friend) on: Jul 12, 2017

Our heartfelt condolences to my siblings, their spouses, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren on the passing of our family's matriarch. They say it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes a village to care for an elderly parent and our mother certainly had a village to care for her beginning with our sister Therese (Terry), her husband Roger and our brother Henri who ensured mom received the utmost care and was never alone; everyone who visited her either in person or via phone as we all know that mother was a very social person who looked forward to and loved hearing from everyone in her life. Also, last but not least, the staff at the Manor in St. Boniface, St. Boniface Hospital and anyone and everyone who was involved in the care of our dear mother. - Posted by: Truth Renaissance and Gary Budnyk (Daughter and Son In Law) on: Jul 11, 2017

Louise and family, I am so sorry to hear of your Mum's passing. She was such a sweet, kind-hearted lady. I remember going with Louise for supper to her Mum's apartment many times and she sent me home every time with a huge bag of baked goodies. She was a beautiful soul who treated everyone as one of her own kids. - Posted by: Mary Paton (Friend of Louise's) on: Jul 10, 2017
