KATHLEEN OVERWATER (KATHY) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kathy Overwater, at the age of 84, on July 7, 2017 at Bethesda Personal Care Home. Kathy is survived by her best friend and loving husband Fred, sister Victoria, brothers Morris (Darcy) and Dennis (Suzy), sister-in-law Patsy, brother-in-law Emil (Sharon), and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Albert, father Dmytro Stefura, mother Anne Kadobiansky, stepfather John Kadobiansky, sister Myrna, and brothers Nestor and Billy. Kathy was a very kind and generous person. She loved spending time outdoors. She spent many happy hours with Fred fishing, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Kathy was also a member of the ladies auxiliary for many years at Legion #9 where she met, and later married Fred. A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to the staff at Bethesda Personal Care Home for their care and support given to Kathy and her family. Thank you to Patsy Stefura and Karen Tropea for your support and love.
