WENDY ANN ROSE October 29, 1951 - July 18, 2017 Wendy Rose, beloved wife of David Rose of Calgary, passed away at the South Health Campus, on July 18, 2017 at the age of 65 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband David; children: Oden (Michelle), Troy (Paula), Sean, Todd (Stephanie), Chris and Marc, all of Calgary; and her 10 grandchildren: Justin, Megan, Raelyn, Evan, Kaitlyn, Declan, Jackson and Autumn. Wendy will also be sadly missed by her father Don McArthur; brothers: Darren and Murray (Kathy); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, especially her long-time friend Maggie Friesen. She was predeceased by her mother Jean McArthur; granddaughter Raelyn Gruszecki; and stepmother Lorraine McArthur. Wendy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She grew up in Winnipeg and moved to Calgary after her first grandchild was born. Wendy had many hobbies that she enjoyed including sewing, singing in the choir, colouring, reading, and spending time with her church family; but most of all, her pride and joy were her grandchildren. Her family takes comfort knowing that she is no longer in pain and is now reunited with loved ones in heaven, where she can sing and dance with the angels.
