Anne, Manitoba, Vic Morin passed away Saturday morning at the age of 98. Victor was born and raised in St. Malo, Manitoba, the eldest of 14 children. Victor is survived by his wife of 71 years, Fernande; his children: Gerald (Edna), Roger (Lise), Marc (Mien), Denise Lanouette (Luc), Diane French (Bill) and Paul (Mavis), nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sisters: Alice LaCroix, Albina Lapointe and Irene Colette, and brother Raymond Morin. Victor was predeceased by his daughter Angèle. The family thanks the staff at Ste. Anne Hospital, Villa Youville, home care, and Sister Rioux and Sister Vermette for their professional care and concern for Dad. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., reception to follow. Chère Fernande, Je tiens à vous offrir à toi et à ta famille les plus sincères condoléances des residents et du personnel de la Villa Youville. Victor a passé plusieurs années parmi nous et il nous a profondément touchés par sa gentillesse, son merveilleux sens d'humour et sa présence toujours chaleureuse. Nous gardons de lui de trés bons souvenirs. Nous regrettons avec vous son départ qui laisse un bien grand vide après tant d'années de bonheur passées ensemble.
