  • Hey Laurel, I've been thinking since Sunday. What if I had 1 more hour with you? What would we talk about? Would we laugh about all the adventures we had throughout the years? Or how our sons became steadfast friends at 9 years old and still remain best buddies today. Or would we talk about all the holiday get togethers, the birthday parties, grads, weddings, showers, births. Or the camping trips, treks out to the cabin for "Girls Weekend". The long talks over glasses of wine. The shopping mall! Or how we'd go into the same nursing home and show them a thing or two about having fun, at age 90, of course. The years unfolded, the love remained. I might tell you what your friendship has meant to me, a constant in my life for 24 years. Yes, an abundance of laughter and fun, "Kodak moments", some tears, losses, disappointments. I might say "There will never be another you, doing all your little thoughtful things, listening, caring so deeply for your family and many friends. I would surely tell you "My family and I love you my friend and thank you for all the memories. We will hold them close to our hearts. If only I had 1 more hour with you..... - Posted by: Rita Jounot (Friend) on: Aug 09, 2017
