RUTH NELL MOYER (née POTALUKA) July 10, 1920 - August 10, 2017 Ruth spent her childhood on a farm near Thalberg, MB. In her teens, she moved to Winnipeg where she worked in a number of jobs associated with the war effort. After her marriage in 1949, Ruth lived most of her life in St Vital. She enjoyed her garden, and was an elegant woman who created a welcoming home. Ruth was a loving and caring wife to her husband Walter (predeceased 2010) and a kind and thoughtful Aunt. Ruth's open and friendly nature was also appreciated by the staff and residents of Riverwood Square where she lived for seven years. At the end of Ruth's life, she spent time at both the Victoria and Riverview Hospitals where the staff provided excellent care. The family is very grateful for their kindness and compassion. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 16, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
