COMPAYRE (nee WILL) July 30, 1930 - August 13, 2017 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen Compayre, on Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the age of 87. Mom was predeceased by her son Marcel and daughter Kathy; sisters, Janette Corby, Joyce Gallaher, Gail and Dorothy Will. She is survived by her daughters, Gwen Compayre, Tina Trotter (Stephen); grandchildren, Julie and Nickie, Carmen Trudel (Nipper), grandchildren, Mallory and Jonathan and brother Gerry (Lois) Will. Mom was born in Keewatin, Ontario, grew up in St. James and raised her family in Windsor Park. Mom worked at Eaton's in her early years, after raising a family, she worked at Schneider's. Mom enjoyed a long retirement and spent many winters travelling to Hawaii and Florida with her family. Mom loved to travel and when she could no longer travel she loved to hear of other's travel adventures. Mom could not have stayed in her own home without the support and dedication of family, WRHA (Glenda and Jackie) and Comforts of Care (Rhazel and Joan). Mom, three daughters and grandson live with Type 1 Diabetes, we are hopeful that one day there will be a cure for the future generations of our family and yours. To support this, in lieu of flowers, should friends desire, a donation may be made in Mom's memory to Diabetes Canada "in support of Research". Cremation has taken place and to honor Mom's wishes a private gathering will take place in September. We will miss you Mom/Nana. On behalf of my brother, Bob and myself....we offer sincere condolences on the passing of Mrs Compayre. Had many happy times with the Compayre clan....especially Marcel and Kathy.
