FLORENCE (SABADA) PARADIS February 1, 1926 - August 29, 2017 Peacefully, on August 29, 2017, Florence passed away at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her first husband Peter Sabada; grandson Shane Sabada; brothers Conrad Ranger, Romeo Ranger and Ernie Ranger; and her sister Ernestine Lavigne. Florence is survived by her husband Roger Paradis; her children Terri (Leonard) and Dennis (Angela); foster child Randy Strawa; grandchildren Melissa, Darcy and Eldon; great-grandchildren Rylee, Ocean, Fiera and Ilikai; and her brother Philip. She loved to knit, crochet, play cards, painting, and when younger skating and cross-country skiing. She also loved her flowers on her patio for many years, travelling, going on cruises and the condo in Mexico. A celebration of Florence's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3J 0L3 or to a charity of your choice.
