He was predeceased by his parents Clovis and Yvonne (Gregoire); his siblings Romeo (Cecile), Marc (Cora), Raymonde (Roland - fiancée Basia), sister-in-law Rose and brother-in-law Herman. Growing up on the farm in St. Jean Baptiste he was always an avid lover of cars and trucks. Gilles began his driving career at the age of 18. At 22, he became a Long Distance Driver and hauled throughout Canada and the U.S. until the age of 70. Gilles accumulated several million miles during his career and was recognized for his safety and performance receiving numerous driving awards. Gilles loved travelling, laughing and entertaining his family and friends by the pool in their backyard. "Never more than a thought away, loved and remembered everyday" A special thank you to Doctor Nene Rush, and the attentive and compassionate staff at St. Boniface Hospital who cared for Gilles.
