I was fortunate to work with Russ at SHL Systemhouse in the late 90's. He was a go getter with a big heart and full of laughter. He was so quick witted and that grin and smile he had was great. God bless the family on your loss. All of us who knew Russ will never forget him. Kind, big heart, and a wonderful man Rest in Peace my friend. I had the extreme pleasure of working with Russ in the early 90's at NWD. He was my favorite person in Winnipeg and the person with whom I had my last meal with there. He always made me smile...always. Every memory I have about my time there, that makes me happy, has Russ in it. The world will never be as bright without Russ in it; but wherever he is now, he is making someone forget about their pains and troubles by making them laugh. - Posted by: Gary Lindberg (Friend) on: Sep 17, 2017

I worked with Russ back in the 90s. He was one of the most nicest, creative, and smartest guys. He had a sense of humour that was so subtle and full of wit. He used to tie his tie up now and then so it was about 6" long. He wouldn't say a word and waited to see who would notice it. He called it the stubby. That always cracked us all up Russ, you will be missed. Dave - Posted by: David Botterill (Friend and Co-worker) on: Sep 16, 2017
