ERIC SCHULTZ It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Eric at the age of 86, on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife Erna, of 64 years, his four children: Brian, Larry, Sandy (Ken) and Brenda (Rory), two granddaughters: Alyssa (Matt) and Brooke; his sister Hertha Goeres (Philipp), sisters-in-law Martha Schultz and Anne Streilein, brothers-in-law Don Streilein (Linda), Ed Streilein (Joanne), and numerous nieces and nephews. Eric was born in Winnipeg on April 30, 1931. He spent 37 years as an Engineer with CN Rail until his retirement in 1987. Eric loved to spend time in the outdoors hunting, fishing, boating, and camping. He spent over 15 years of his retirement volunteering with the Winnipeg Police Service, and with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home. We would like to thank the staff at both Concordia Hospital and Bethania Personal Care Home for the care and comfort that they provided. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to CancerCare Manitoba. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
