Date of Passing: Oct 01, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN (KAY) BRADLEY (nee ROBERTSON) Kathleen (Kay) Bradley (nee Robertson) passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital surrounded by family on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Kay was mother of Sandra (Frank), Sophie (Gisele) and grandmother to Kimberly (Ryan), Megan (Risto), Janique (Sean), Nathalie; as well as a great-grandmother to Keira, Sabastian, Savanna, Finley and aunt to Dorothy, Bob (Gina) Rutledge and Don Robertson. Kay was born in Winnipeg on March 1, 1926 and grew up in the west end. She lost her mother and father early in life and after school, went to work at Great West Life where she met her husband of 64 years, Doug at PALA Camp in Minake, Ontario. Together, Kay and Doug were a busy and dynamic couple. Many family memories were made in their seasonal outings with the family to Kenora, Lac Lu and Fairhills Resort (near Detroit Lakes). Kay and Doug were the type of warm and fun-loving people that resulted in many friends all over the world through their many, many hobbies. In between seeing Canada from coast-to-coast, they kept themselves busy with curling, golfing, badminton, wine-making, bridge and numerous social groups. Kay will stay in our memory as the warm-hearted nucleus of our little family. The family would like to thank the staff at Dakota House for making the last three years so enjoyable for her. We would also like to thank home care for their assistance and kindness. To the fifth floor staff at the Victoria Hospital, we are very appreciative of the care and compassion shown to mom. As per Kay's wishes, there will be no service. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations can be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
