RAYMOND ERIC YORKE May 31, 1932 - October 8, 2017 In loving memory of Raymond Yorke, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Heritage Place Personal Care Home. Ray leaves to morn, his son Bob and his family; sisters, Tommy (Paul) Champagne, Joyce (George) Town, Nancy (Ken) Yendrys, and their families; as well as his large blended family. Ray was predeceased by his wife Margaret in 2008; his daughter Rae-Ellen Bristow in 1991; as well as his two brothers, Allan and Ron. Ray enjoyed his retired life in Manigotagan, fishing, spending time playing cards with friends, as well as being Santa Claus for the surrounding communities. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017, with viewing one hour prior to service. Cremation will take place following the service and a private interment will be held at a later date in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or Cancer Care Manitoba.
