ROSALINDA GALAPON CARGANILLA It is with great and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Rosalinda Galapon Carganilla, at the age of 69 years, on October 6, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Rosa and Claudio Galapon, Sr. She is sadly missed by her husband of 43 years, Eleazar and her daughters, Lorraine (Marvin) Tuazon, Hazel, and Melissa (JR) Alibin and her grandchildren: Justin, Vanessa, Liam, Noah, Amelia, and Nadia. She will be missed by her siblings Ofelia (Orlando), Solita (Cesar), Ana Ros (Nestor), Claudio Jr., Nemia (Ricardo), and many nephews and nieces. Mom was born in San Roque, Guimba, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, and settled in Winnipeg in 1975. Family was very important to mom. She fiercely doted on her grandchildren - there was nothing she wouldn't do for them. She had a strong faith in God. Mom's wake (Lamay) will be held on Saturday, October 14 from 6:00 p.m. until midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A celebration of mom's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 16 at St. Timothy Parish, 135 John Forsyth Road.
