Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN LOUISE MARIE CRAIGIE March 16, 1924 October 10, 2017 It is with heavy hearts we said goodbye to our devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Eileen, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, as she passed into the loving arms of her saviour. Eileen was predeceased by her husband Jim, in 2008, as well as her eldest daughter Faye, in 2000. Her memory will be cherished by her children of whom she was so very proud: Diane, Nancy (Doug), Jim (Cheryl) and son-in-law Tom. She was blessed with nine grandchildren: Shelley, Jason, Jeffery, Tannis (Marc), Colin (Erica), Crystal, Derek, Amanda and Jimmy. The 'icing on the cake' was her 10 great-grandchildren whom she immensely enjoyed visiting with. She was also a dear sister to Irene. Mom was the care giver to all who knew her. Growing up in a family of 13 children enriched her life with values she lived by for her 93 years. Eileen led a full life where family always took priority. Sunday family dinners will be treasured memories forever. Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 847 St. Mary's Rd. on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. I got to know Eileen as a Eucharist Minister from St. Timothy Parish who brought communion to the residents of Dakota House for the last few years. Eileen was a very caring lady with a huge heart and a loving spirit. She will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Joanne Roussin (Friend from St. Timothy Parish) on: Oct 14, 2017
