I was deeply saddened to hear of Cheryl's passing at such a young age. Cheryl and I were great childhood friends enjoying going to the skating rink and practicing our figure skating for hours, also teaching the young children skating in the surrounding communities. I remember always competing with Cheryl in track and field but was never able to beat her in any of the events but still remained good friends. We also shared a love of piano playing. My thoughts go out to Cheryl's brothers and sister at this most difficult time. She will be greatly missed.
