TERRANCE MICHAEL DRIVER 1937 - 2017 After a two year battle with cancer Terry passed peacefully, with his family by his side, at Middlechurch Personal Care Home October 24, 2017. Terry enjoyed a life well lived every day until his passing. Terry was predeceased by his one true love, his wife Mary Margaret. He had a special moment in September of this year when he reminisced about he and Marge and what would have been their 60th wedding anniversary. His life will continue to be celebrated by his son Terrance Jr., wife Kim and grandchildren Kay-Lee (Skyler Eastman) and Daniel, and his son Darrell, wife Nancy and grandchildren Chad and Nathan and great-granddaughter Emily. Terry simply loved life. He retired no less than three times and always chose to return to work wherever he could help out and add some laughs with his fellow employees. He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in any sports. With Chad, and Daniel and then Nathan it was all about hockey and football. With Kay-Lee it was all about anything she chose to do. He always enjoyed the time he spent with Skyler and Kay-Lee and could talk hours on end with Skylar about anything, and Skylar was always happy to oblige. Terry and Marge loved to entertain. They took up residence in Transcona in 1963 and he remained there until 2016. For Marge and Terry, any reason was the right reason to celebrate and any time was the best time! Terry loved to cook and always made sure everyone had plenty to eat and drink no matter who or how many came by. He just loved life and family. His last year and a half was spent at Middlechurch where he made many friends with the staff and residents and was often seen heading down to the Village Pump to socialize with friends and visitors. He lovingly called the staff at Middlechurch part of his family. The last year he spent several afternoons with his cousin Cheryl sitting in his room or the courtyard talking about growing up in Winnipeg and all the great times they had. At Terry's request, cremation has occurred. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Terry asked that we not mourn his passing but celebrate what he enjoyed as a Life Well Lived. In his memory, donations can be made to the wonderful facility and caregivers of Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg.
