Maria was born in Winnipeg and was predeceased by her husband Barry (2015) and granddaughter Jamie (Jordy) Stephen (2017). She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Thomas) Shmon, Gena (Chris) Philpott; grandchildren, Matthew (Samantha) Kull, Nathaneil Koch, Katie (Kolten) Koch, Jess Kull; great-grandson Odin Kull, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rest well Mom, you fought hard. You are with Dad and Jamie now; the three amigos ride again. A private service for her family and close friends was held on October 25, 2017.
