CORNELIUS (NEIL) FROESE March 4, 1928 - November 11, 2017 Cornelius (Neil) Froese, age 89, of Winnipeg, MB., son of Cornelius and Maria Froese passed away early on November 11, 2017 at the St. Boniface General Hospital after a short illness. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret, sons Robert, Philip (Loreen), Michael (Valerie), daughter Ashley Sokal, (Phil) (mother Alexis Sokal); grandchildren, Lisa, Travis, Tyler, Stephen, Kirby, Matthew and Sydney. He is survived by brothers, Harry (Irma), Pete (Hilda), Dave (Hilda), and sisters, Jessie, Hilda (Herman), Heidi (Pete) and Ruth. Neil was born in Sperling, MB., March 4, 1928. He went on to become a successful businessman and retired at the age of 66. Neil loved his family, his Cadillacs and playing golf, billiards and darts with his friends. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation. A memorial service will be held at Atlantic-Garden City United Church, 725 Atlantic Ave., Winnipeg on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. A private interment will be held at the Sperling Cemetery, Sperling, MB. on November 19 prior to the memorial service.
