Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySISTER IDA BEAUDIN March 2, 1920 - November 22, 2017 On Wednesday, November 22, Sister Ida Beaudin, Franciscan Missionary of Mary, died peacefully in the infirmary of the Mother House in Montreal, Québec, surrounded by members of the congregation. Sister Ida was 97 years old and was a member of the FMM since the age of 17 when she joined the order. Ida was born in St. Eustache, Manitoba. She leaves to mourn her passing, a sister Lucille Wiltshire (Ralph), a sister-in-law Thérèse, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Amédée and Clarinda; brothers Léon (Alice), Albert (Jeanne), Lucien, Marcel; and sisters Irène Hamelin, Olive Normandin and Alice Longmore. Sister Ida will always be remembered as having profound empathy, a very cordial and gifted person; and very actively engaged in service to those less fortunate and needy. She highly personified the spirit of the missionary in whatever milieu she worked. Family meant a great deal to Sister Ida and she made our world a better place. You will be greatly missed! Goodbye "Ida" - "May the wings of angels guide thee to thy rest" Many thanks to the wonderful sisters of FMM and caregivers at the Infirmary in Montreal for their care to Sister Ida in the last few years of her life.

Certain people in life carry a smile with them wherever they go. Soeur Ida radiated kindness. Never did she pass me by on the street without saying hello. I will remember her fondly. - Posted by: Nicole Gaudry (Neighbour) on: Dec 06, 2017

Sister Ida and I worked together teaching at Marion School in Winnipeg in the 1970's, and I always appreciated her broad smile and gregarious attitude. Her students in their primary years benefited from her excellent teaching and guidance. They will remember her with gratitude, I am sure. I sent my most sincere condolences to her family and others who valued her friendship over the years. - Posted by: Sheilah Land (colleague) on: Dec 02, 2017
