My condolences to you and your family, Michael. I met your Mom at St Joseph's hospital in January 2013. My brother was dying there at the time and she used to sneak out of her room and come and stand at the end of his bed. I don't know what drew her to him. We didn't know at the time that she was a distant cousin. I was helping an Eamer relative obtain the proof he needed to get his UE. He told me we had a cousin in Courtenay. I tracked Shirl down and my sister-in-law and I visited her at the Senior's Village. We were very surprised to recognize her from the hospital. Very sad that we didn't get to meet sooner. - Posted by: Donna (Jordan) Bruce (3rd Cousin) on: Dec 10, 2017

Michael, so sorry for your loss of your Mom. We have so many, many fond memories of your Mom (and Harry). Dinners, parties and all the years at the lake. She was a wonderful person and full of joy. She will be missed. Hugs and prayers to you and your family. Diane and Ida Selman (Winnipeg) - Posted by: Diane & Ida Selman (Friends) on: Dec 06, 2017
