Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD WILLIAM BEDARD Ronald William Bedard passed away peacefully on December 11, 2017 at 2:00 a.m. at the age of 64. His mother, Jean Bedard, and cousins, Didi Gottfried, Debra Lennon, and Denise Martens were at his side to help him on his journey. He fought a long, hard battle with cancer. His cousin, Rick Cook, and several of his Loose Gravel band members travelled to visit with him during his last weeks. Ronny has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held on August 4, 2018 in Selkirk, Manitoba where he spent his childhood. His ashes will be taken to Churchill, Manitoba where he spent his teen and young adult years. He lived and worked in many places since but always called Selkirk and Churchill his hometowns. Ronny was a very kind and gentle soul. He touched many and made them feel special. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the University of Alberta Hospital Unit 5C4 and the Edmonton General Hospital Unit 9Y for their kind and compassionate care.
