Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICOLA ALBERTO March 14, 1945 - December 6, 2017 With heavy hearts and tremendous sadness, we said goodbye to our Son, Husband, Father, Nonno, Zio, Cousin and Friend after a valiant struggle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Nick lived his life filled with honour and integrity, always considering others first, "Doing the best with what I got". His deep love for family and infectious humour was evident to all who knew him. A short memorial service will be held December 18, 2017 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Springs Church, 725 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, followed by an informal time for fellowship with family and friends. My dear beautiful friend, Over 20 years ago you sat with me in the pub, I was singing for free Chicken wings, You always had a kind word in a cold world, Wisdom you gave freely to me regarding my family, Courage you gave me in big and little things, My heart is heavy, No more laughter with you, I did not know how to deal with you dying, I always thought there was more time.
