  • My deepest sympathy to Karen and family. I worked with Marvin in Yellowknife in the 1970's and in Nunavut in the 1990"s. He was a fellow adventurer willing to work in isolated places to set up fledgling court systems. He was a quiet and persistent manager and is responsible for the Nunavut courthouse and many other important court initiatives in Nunavut. I learned many lessons from Marvin over the years. It was a pleasure to know his and work with him. His contribution to the administration of justice in the north is second to none.
