Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJERZY DOBROWOLSKI It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerzy Dobrowolski on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Jerzy was born in Wasilkow, Poland where he lived for many years until immigrating to Winnipeg, MB in 1970. He worked for the Winnipeg School Division #1 for many years. He leaves to mourn his wife Janina in Winnipeg; his brother Zygmunt Dobrowolski; his sister Janina; and several nieces and nephew in Poland. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Holy Ghost Parish, 341 Selkirk Avenue with Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. A special thanks to staff at Fred Douglas Lodge for their exceptional care of Jerzy.

George...You were the most loyal and trusting working partner and friend that comes to mind when we worked at the Wpg. Sch. Div. You where quick to defend me, stand up for what you believed in and funny as f___! I always honored you for the way you stood up to those clowns at WSD no matter if they were Management, a Teacher, Principal or whoever...You were ready "and able" to stand up to them and you knew I had your back. We had a good laugh every day and we even got a bit of work done...hahaha. George, you one of the good ones man. I'm mad at myself for not keeping in touch with you after you retired. George...you come to mind often when certain sights and sounds occur around me and that's a good thing. You are a good man...I tried to contact you recently when I found out you had gone.
