JEAN MAKSYMCHUK Jean Maksymchuk, aged 95 years old, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 after a brief illness. Jean was predeceased by her husband Mike; her brothers, Jack and Stan Lula; and her son-in-law Larry Marchenski. She is survived by her children, Stella Galay (Mike), Nellie Marchenski, Mike (Val) and Cheryl Boguski (Darrell). She will be remembered fondly by her grandchildren, Alan (Solay), Wayne (Janice), Terry, Trevor, and Luke; great-grandchildren, Chance and Savanna; sister Nellie Masiak, and nephew John Boyechko; along with many friends and relatives who mourn the loss of Jean and her ever welcoming and caring personality. Thank you on behalf of Jean to the staff and residents of Kildonan Personal Care Home for their friendship and support. A funeral service in memory of Jean will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Fr. John Sianchuk, CSsR. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Donations in memory of Jean can be made to the Blessed Vasyl Shrine at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church or a charity of their choice.
