DOMENICO VALENTINI January 16, 1944 - March 14, 2018 It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and Nonno at the age of 74. He took his last breath at home on Wednesday morning, March 14, 2018 and died peacefully surrounded by his loving wife, son Vito, daughter Maria, granddaughter Lily and grandson Antonio. He truly lived life the way he wanted, his incredible sense of humour and fun attitude was contagious, he truly was a social butterfly. You knew he cared for you because of the passion he expressed to you when you were a part of his circle. He was a man of great strength and we witnessed the love he had for his family as he fought so hard to stay with us. What was most important to him was his grandchildren, family and good friends. Domenico was predeceased by his mother Chiara, father Vito, brother Nicola and sister Nella. He will be greatly missed but never ever forgotten by his beautiful wife Calogera Valentini, Vito Valentini (son) and wife Paola Oliverio (daughter-in-law), children, Domenico Valentini (grandson), Gia Valentini (granddaughter), Maria Valentini (daughter), Liliana Cilia (granddaughter) and Antonio Cilia (grandson), Nichola Bonachera (daughter), Manuel Bonachera (grandson) and Laura Bonachera (granddaughter). A very large loving extended family here in Winnipeg, Calgary, Mola Di Bari (Italy) Canicatti (Sicily), France, England, Belgium and Germany. Special thanks to our amazing family and friends. We have no words to express the gratitude we have for all who have supported us during this very difficult time. The family will receive condolences at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave., Rev. Father Sam Argenziano presiding. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in his memory. We will forever miss you Dad.
