MAXIMA R. PATANA Peacefully, with her husband by her side, Maxima R. Patana passed away at Grace Hospital on March 12, 2018 at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her loving husband Pedro, of 36 years, her stepdaughter, her nieces and nephews, and many grandchildren. Maxima came to Canada in 1971, and worked as a seamstress at George N. Jackson until she retired in 1994. Lamay (viewing) will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight on Saturday, March 17 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home. Service is at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, with interment to follow. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Poseidon Nursing Home, Simkin Centre, and Grace Hospital.
