Mrs. Houston was always home when I went to Linda’s house on Talbot Ave. I was always welcome there. Linda would always ask her Mom to make us a special treat that I loved and didn’t have at my house and she would always oblige. I remember her smile, her smiling eyes and her laughter. I had many happy sleep overs at the Houston’s. I have so many happy memories with Linda and her entire family. My sister Sherryl and Diane were also good friends. I remember: the times that Joey would take Linda and I for chocolate malts downtown, Donny having his mother’s smile and Linda’s Dad in his favorite upholstered living room chair.
