SHIRLEY DOREEN LUSSIER (nee CHILTON) June 19, 1931 - March 23, 2018 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Shirley Lussier, on Friday, March 23, 2018, at the Meadowood Personal Care Home. Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Edese Lussier, her "Blue Eyes," in 2012. As well as her brothers-in-law, Roland Cadoreth and Norman Daher. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Gary (Gisele), Debra (Bill) McCarthy, Donald and Kenneth; grandchildren, Kevin (Charlene), Justin (Mallory), Kayleen, Trevor, Sarah, Chelsea (Kevin), Cole and Clayton; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Nicholas, Blake, Benjamin and Berkley; sisters, Marilyn, Cadoreth and Linda Daher (Dennis); brother Terry; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family. Shirley was a great cook and her hospitality was legendary. In her spare time she enjoyed petit point and sewing. Her struggle with dementia for the past 12 years had been a challenge in her life, but now she is free, together again with her "Blue Eyes" and parents, Gordon and Clementine Chilton. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Christ the King Parish, 847 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg, MB. Interment to follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A reception will be held in the parish hall following the interment. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
