Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGILLES LIONEL COLLETTE On March 27, 2018 at the Victoria General Hospital, with my loving family at my side, I peacefully went to join God's party upstairs. To greet me were my parents, Maximilien and Cécile (Savoie) Collette; my brothers, Roland, Antonio and Roger; my in-laws, Félix and Adéline (Fillion) Parent; and sisters-in-law, Marthe (Boies) Collette and Monique (Parent) Haun. I will be watching over my loving wife of 55 years, Gisèle (Parent) Collette; my children, Denis (Nicole) Collette, Lise (Lee) Harvey and Jean-Paul (Victoria) Collette; my grandchildren, Krystèle (Patrick) Gendron, Mireille Collette, Danielle Harvey, Julie (Brenton) Harvey, Keegan and Katie; and my two precious great-grandchildren, Alexander and Sophie. I leave with the fondest of memories my siblings, Marcel (Florence) Collette and Gisèle (Allan) Labossière; my sisters-in-law, Vivienne, Denise and Françoise; and brother-in-law Jack Haun; along with many nieces and nephews. A great many thanks go out to: St. Boniface Hospital, the dedicated medical and support staff of the Victoria General Hospital 5-South, Dr. F. Salem, palliative care physicians and nurse Florence, along with the many friends who have made this journey easier. Thank you for filling my life with many laughs, much happiness and unforgettable memories. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or a charity of your choice. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., at l'église St. Martyrs-Canadiens, 289 Dussault Ave., Winnipeg, MB with reception to follow. Speaking for myself (Gerry )At 72 I was brought up most of my life with the Labossiere/Collette family.
